Attorney Andrew O'Donnell
Andrew O'Donnell has been an integral part of Barnes & Fersten and quickly received extensive experience of defending clients at the highest level. Andrew has dedicated his entire career since graduating from the University of Memphis Law School in 2022 to defending clients charged with DUI and the most serious felonies.
Andrew joined Barnes & Fersten in 2024, following two years at the 9th District’s Public Defender’s Office where Andrew successfully represented hundreds of clients in DUI, drug, misdemeanor and felony cases. Andrew joined our office because he wanted to provide a higher level of representation to his clients with more personal communication and more time to dedicate to each individual case to ensure the best results for his clients.
Andrew is a graduate of the Tennessee College of Criminal Defense and a member of the National College of DUI defense (NCDD).

Originally moved from Ft. Lauderdale Florida to Tennessee with his family in 2005. Andrew graduated from Bearden High and The University of Tennessee at Knoxville before heading to Memphis for law school.
During Law School, an internship following a criminal defense attorney steered his attention towards the justice system. He spent his second and third years in school shifting from employment and labor law to criminal defense.
Before joining Barnes and Fersten he spent two years as an assistant public defender in Roane and Loudon. He enjoys advocating for his clients and helping them achieve the best outcome possible.
Andrew enjoys ice hockey and is a lifetime Boston Bruins fan.
